Thrive Connections Program

Connect. Grow. Belong. Thrive.

A welcoming 12-month group program for adults living with disability.
Make new friends, build confidence, learn new skills, and explore your community in a therapeutic, fun and supportive environment.

Thrive Connections is a therapeutic group program led by qualified social workers.
Each monthly session is purposefully designed to build confidence, social skills, independence, and community connection, with guest input from psychologists, occupational therapists, art therapists, physiotherapists, and dietitians across the year. It's structured, goal-focused support that feels like fun.

Who is this program for?

This program may suit you if you are an NDIS participant aged 18 or over who wants more social connection, would like to make friends, wants to build confidence, practise social and communication skills, get more involved in the community, or improve independence and routines. We welcome people with a range of support needs.

Is it the right fit?

Before the program starts one of our social workers will have a friendly intake chat with you to learn about your goals and support needs and make sure the group is the right fit. If it isn't right just now, we'll talk with you about other support options. To keep the group safe for everyone, the program isn't suitable during an acute mental health crisis, or where there are significant aggression risks, active substance misuse, behaviours requiring one-to-one support, or medical instability preventing community attendance, in those situations individual supports are the better path, and we can help arrange them.
